Don't you hate uploading a post to Facebook, only to have absolutely no one comment on your well-thought-out witticisms?
Maybe (just maybe) people don't like your Facebook updates because those rants, raves and ridiculous statuses annoy a huge majority of the digital population. In fact, a Mashable user poll taken during the 2012 election noted that nearly 47 percent of responders admitted to "unfriending" at least one acquaintance because of political posts. Heck, with all the time we're spending on Facebook these days, we've all probably committed a faux pas or two. Or three...
Nielsen research on Facebook usage habits found that Americans spend approximately eight hours a month on the social network. In another study, theJournal of Broadcasting & Electronic Media discovered people's main motive for "stalking" online acquaintances is out of sheer boredom. But even the very bored and the very social can't find it in their hearts to click "Like" on certain posts.

1. POSTS IN ALL CAPS
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Tone it down! You're literally SCREAMING at all of Facebook. Unless you're injured or just had a baby, there's no point in yelling at the digital world
2. Passive Aggressive Posts
Annoying example #1:
"Don't you hate it when your crush forgets to call you back?"Annoying example #2:
"I guess I'll just sit at home all by myself tonight..."Enough, already! Save your passive aggressive comments for the high school lunch line, we beg of you.
3. Horrible Spam Posts
"Like this post, and win an iPad!!!"
No, we will not win an iPad. And we're not falling for that again.
4. 'Debbie Downer' Posts
Everyone has a friend that reminds them ofEeyore from "Winnie-the-Pooh" or Debbie Downer from "SNL"? But constant negative posts and dejected comments are exhausting to see on your News Feed everyday, so pep it up on occasion!
5. Uber-Opinionated Posts
Sure, everyone is entitled to their opinions. But remember this when uploading a passionate rant: What you say on Facebook isn't the same as discussing something at a bar after work witha few close chums. You're literally broadcasting opinons to a slew of Facebook friends (and possible employers) who may or may not share your same beliefs.
Just remember to show a little of that good ol' R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
6. Constant Status Updates
If you feel the need to post something to your Facebook Wall every hour, then it's probably time to invest in a Twitter account.
7. Posts From Annoying Apps
Which is more obnoxious: Farmville requests or streams of weird apps infiltrating your News Feed? We promise you'll be more popular on Facebook if you limit the amount of "Cheeeezy Smile" posts you send out daily.
